Agitated fans break TV sets, burn posters at India’s loss to Pakistan

Furious fans across India vented their anger as Pakistan handed over crushing defeat to the Indian cricket team in the Champions Trophy final at the Oval in London on Sunday. The locals were seen agitated and breaking their TV sets amidst angry chants against Indian cricketers. India lost to Pakistan by 180 runs as Virat Kohli-led team bundled out for 158 in 31 overs against opponent’s total of 338. Upset over India’s loss, disheartened fans in the northern city of Kanpur took to the streets and burnt posters of their cricketing stars. In New Delhi, fans dressed in blue, howled against Indian cricketers. (ANI)
