Many art connoisseurs gathered to take a look at the oil paintings by Dodiya. Senior artists A Ramachan-dran, SH Raza, Atul Gupta and Subodh Gupta were present at the do. Others spotted were artists Vidya Shivdas, Manu and Madhvi Parekh, Vivan Sundaram, Maya Thomas, Mithu Sen, Samit Das, and lensman Raghu Rai with wife Neeta.
