Truck graffiti inspires artist Alex Davis’s latest works.

If you are passing by a truck on the road, the one thing that is sure to catch your attention is what’s written behind it. Such is the popularity of the phrases behind Indian trucks that they can even influence artwork, like the exhibition - Dented Painted by artist Alex Davis.

Five installations of phrases seen behind trucks, such as, Ok, Stop, Blow Horn, Phool Patti and Neel Kamal, are on display at The Aman Hotel in the Capital.Road-struck

Blow ahorn

Having travelled far and wide across India by road, the observations during these trips have inspired Davis to create these installations.

Though his works over the last six years have had a mirror polished look, the road-side inspired creations are bright and vibrant. Each installation is priced at Rs 5 lakhs.
