An annual fest is one time when boys on campus are allowed entry in a girls’ college. And so, when it was time for Delhi University’s Gargi college’s annual fest, Reverie 2012, a mix crowd turned up to enjoy.
This three-day-long fest included activities such as a singing competition, battle of the bands, street play competition, and western choreography competition, which saw participation from Hans Raj college, Sri Venkateswara college, Hindu college and Lady Shri Ram college, among others. ‘Soul’d out’ won the battle of the bands, while Sri Venkateswara and Hans Raj college jointly won the ‘choreo’ competition.
There was also a short film festival, and a photography exhibition titled Aria - every picture has its own story, that had on display pictures taken by students. However, the highlight of the event was a performance by singer Kailash Kher’s band, Kailasa, that left the crowd asking for more.
