'Cream' and 'Purple Rain' singer Prince was voted the most under-rated guitarist in a survey conducted by Rolling Stone magazine.

American musician, Prince has been polled the ‘most underrated guitarist’, in a survey conducted by Rolling Stone magazine.

The ‘Purple Rain’ hitmaker was followed by the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain at the second spot, reports Contactmusic.

The third spot went to Neil Young, a Canadian singer-songwriter, guitarist, and also a film director.

Late ex-Beatle George Harrison and Ace Frehley rounded off the top five, at fourth and fifth places respectively.
