Final Solutions
This play has a powerful contemporary resonance, as it addresses the issue of communalism. Presented by the Asmita Theatre Group, the play, Final Solutions, brings out different shades of the communalist attitude prevalent among various religious communities. It is an attempt to underline the stereotypes and clichés influencing the collective sensibility of one community against another.

The play — Amrita, is a story based on the life of the famous poet and novelist Amrita Pritam, who lived her life on her own terms and mocked at the narrow and parochial tendencies of middle class India. The storyline revolves around Pritam’s love life, which is brought alive through her writings and inputs from her lifelong companion - Imroze.
