The victim had come to Bhopal to meet her husband who works as a labourer in the city.

The incident came into light on Sunday after the victim along with her husband lodged a complaint against the two unknown accused in Chola Mandir police station, police said.

According to the police, the victim had reached Bhopal by train at around 9 pm on November 25. The train had stopped at the edge of the Bhopal railway station near Nishatpura coach factory. As her husband lives near the area, she got off the train there and started walking towards his place.

She was then accosted by the unknown accused men who whisked her to a secluded place. They threatened her with dire consequences if she shouted. One of the accused held her hands while the other accused allegedly raped her. They left the spot after committing the crime and threatened to kill her if she informed anyone about the incident. The victim then somehow managed to call her husband who took her to home at around 10 pm, police said.

A case has been registered and investigations are on to nab them, he said.
