The boy's family alleged that the principal of International Public School PS Kalra, yanked the boy by his tie and dragged him to another room and severely beat him up.

The family said the boy fainted and sustained injuries to his ears. "Our child is in mental trauma after this incident. He is unable to speak properly," said the boy's aunt Sushma Bansal.

"His parents will take him to Indore for further treatment on Saturday as his condition is not good," she said. The family lodged a complaint with the police.

"A team would be sent to the school for investigation on Saturday," said town inspector (TI) of Misrod police station Anil Shukla.

"The medical report of the child stated that he received some injuries but an FIR would be lodged only after preliminary investigations are completed," said Shukla.

The school, administration, has, however, denied the allegations. "We have been receiving regular complaints about the student," said Kalraa countering the allegations.
