The Madhya Pradesh Congress on Saturday dubbed as 'strange' the silence of State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on the mysterious death of BDA Chief Executive Officer, M G Rusiya in a moving train recently.
About 10-15 acres of land in the city belonging to BJP MLA from Huzur in Bhopal, Jitendra Daga was to be acquired for some projects of Bhopal Development Authority while Daga wanted exemption in land acquisition, the leader of the opposition in the State assembly, Jamuna Devi said in a statement.
She also pointed out that there was speculations that senior BJP leader, Sushma Swaraj had also recommended to keep Daga's land out of the purview of BDA proejcts.
The Congress leader also demanded a CBI probe into the death of Rusiya.
The BJP MLA was accompanying Rusiya in the same compartment of the Bhopal Express train by which the duo were returning to Bhopal from New Delhi on September 10 where they had gone to consult an advocate regarding the upcoming BDA's development project in which Daga's 10-15 acres land was coming.
Rusiya went missing enroute and his body was later found lying near the Jajou station under Agra railway division on September 11.
