Former Nepal King Gyanendra arrived in Bhopal for taking part in a wedding ceremony of one of his relatives.

Gyanendra, who is on a private visit to the country, his first since he was dethroned last year, arrived in Bhopal last night and was accorded warm welcome at the airport by the State PWD Minster Nagendra Singh and the people of Nepal origin, official sources said.

Gyanendra along with his wife Komal arrived here to take part in the wedding of Shree Manjari, daughter of former King of Kalahandi (Orissa) Udit Pratap Deo.

Manjari is marring Anant Vijay Singh, son of Congress leader K K Singh, who is also the relative of Union HRD Minister Arjun Singh, on Friday.

AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh and Union Minister of State for Communications and IT Jyotiraditya Scindia among others also attended wedding.
