Talking to journalists about Global Investors Summit held at Indore and the investment atmosphere, Goswami said, "Changes in labour laws are a must to attract greater investments in the state. In our state, an industrialist is sometimes treated as a criminal when charged in a labour case."

Goswami further said, "Another change which is must to develop our state as an industrial hub is roads. In Madhya Pradesh there is no road. CII has visited some industrial areas in a last few days. The major hurdle which we found to reach that area is road. We can't blame MP government for this thing. It can be done through public private partnership and also due to this reason, more than 100 MoU's signed in the industrial infrastructure sector first time."

While talking about CII's role in execution of MoU's Goswami said, "CII will remind the government to fulfill their commitment as soon as possible so signed MoUs' could be implemented. We will also give suggestions to the government to make better environment for industrialists and industries."
