The members of School Vans Owner’s Association on Tuesday visited the CM House to request chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to stop the drive of RTO and traffic police against the school vans.

However, they were unable to meet the chief minister as he was busy in a meeting. The members of the association submitted a memorandum regarding their demands to the officials at the CM’s secretariat.

"The RTO and traffic police are taking action against the school vans unnecessarily. They are trying to harass us by doing so. We have issues with schools due to which we are not able to get the permits from RTO. The schools are unable to provide us a letters which is mandatory to get a permit," said Shiv Kumar Soni of School Vans Owner’s Association.
