"I asked the governor for an inquiry by a central government agency into tampering of EVMs and the massive irregularities committed to help BJP remain in power in MP," Bharti told reporters after coming out of Jakhar's residence.

"The Governor gave me a patient hearing and went through some documents which I had brought to press my point in connection with the massive irregularities," she said.

He agreed to hear and provide protection to officials who would pass on some vital information to him in connection with tampering of EVMs, particularly in Tikamgarh and Prithvipur assembly constituencies, she added.

"I am going to take these officials to the governor's house shortly," Bharti said.

The BJS president said she would soon meet top officials from the Central Election Commission in connection with the same issue.

"We are going to move the courts against these massive irregularities," she said.
