Woman hangs self in front of 3-yr- old son
A woman committed suicide at her house in Rajharsh Colony in Kolar on Saturday. Babita, 28, ended her life in front of her 3-year-old son. The child sensed there was something wrong when his mother hanged herself. He ran outside and told a neighbour.
A woman committed suicide at her house in Rajharsh Colony in Kolar on Saturday. Babita, 28, ended her life in front of her 3-year-old son. The child sensed there was something wrong when his mother hanged herself. He ran outside and told a neighbour. The neighbour, Rajkumar, informed others in the locality and reached her house.
The neighbours found her hanging and brought her down. She was rushed to hospital but was declared brought dead. Babita’s husband Gokul Rajput, 30, had gone to work when she committed suicide. Gokul Rajput is a centering contractor. He had left home early in morning, leaving wife Babita, and son, Karan. “The couple was married 5 years ago,” said a police official. “It is not clear what prompted her to end life. We suspect domestic issues could be at the root.”
