Woman raped, MMS clip made in Sehore

A woman was allegedly gang raped in Dhamanda in Sehore recently. The accused also allegedly made an MMS clip of her and circulated it on the internet.

A woman was allegedly gang raped in Dhamanda in Sehore recently. The accused also allegedly made an MMS clip of her and circulated it on the internet. The victim, a 21-year-old, has now approached the police and on her complaint, the accused have been booked for rape. Police said two persons - Manohar and Vishnu - have been arrested from Tilawad in Shajapur and are being interrogated.

However, the main accused is absconding and a hunt is on to catch him, police said. The victim alleged that she was raped in the jungle at Borwani. Sources said that after the incident, the woman's husband also abandoned her.

Additional SP Amit Saxena said that a case has been registered and all aspects are being looked into this matter.
