Sucker Punch

Synopsis: A young girl (Baby Doll) is locked away in a mental asylum by her stepfather where she will undergo a lobotomy in five days’ time. Faced with unimaginable odds, she retreats to a fantasy world in her imagination where she and four other inmates plot to escape the facility. The lines between reality and fantasy blur as the girl gang battle various creatures and enemies to retrieve the five items they need to break free from their captors before it’s too late.

Synopsis: The film deals with husbands, their philosophy towards life and what they go through on a personal level once they get married. It’s a slice of life on life post matrimony. The film attempts to take a humourous look into how life and romance change for married men.

Synopsis: In 140 AD, 20 years after the unexplained disappearance of the entire Ninth Legion in Scotland, young centurion Marcus Aquila (Channing Tatum) arrives from Rome to solve the mystery and restore the reputation of his father, commander of the Ninth. Accompanied by his British slave Esca (Jamie Bell), Marcus sets out across Hadrian’s Wall into the highlands of Caledonia — to confront its savage tribes and retrieve the lost legion’s golden emblem.

Synopsis: The film explores relations between a grief stricken father and his three daughters. With his wife Manju’s sudden death, Sanjay is suddenly thrown into close proximity with his three daughters. Grappling with this devastating loss, Sanjay finds himself carving out new relations with his daughters. He is faced with a further crisis when he discovers his youngest daughter Dia, has a Muslim boyfriend. An angry Sanjay leaves home and wanders the streets one night. With an unexpected series of events, Sanjay is forced to face his past demons and his old prejudice about Muslims in the larger context of the country in the grips of Islamophobia.
