Aamir Khan upset with his face on AAP poster, writes to Election Commission

’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) that used his image was brought to his notice.

A source close to the actor reveals, "

Aamir

has written to the EC, marking officials from the AAP, clarifying that he is not endorsing any particular political party. Lots of supporters of the AAP have used Twitter and Facebook to put up images of Aamir as a supporter of the party. He isn’t pleased at all as this campaign makes it seem as if he is endorsing the party."

The source adds that Aamir is not okay with the online posters as he recently associated with the EC as part of their initiative, which aims at encouraging people to vote. As part of this initiative, Aamir will tell citizens to practise judicious voting and will not associate his name with any particular political party.

When contacted, Aamir’s spokesperson confirms the news, adding, "From day one, Aamir Khan has made it clear that he will not be endorsing a particular political party. He is not supporting or campaigning for any political party."
