Stars promoting their film before its release is a common practice, but Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan team has introduced a different way of film promotion. For the first time ever, the first look of a film was unveiled by the team of another movie.

The team of Aarakshan consisting of Amitabh Bachchan and Prakash Jha, unveiled the first promo of Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgn starrer Rascals, yesterday.

Bachchan, who is quite close to Dutt and Devgn, willingly agreed to be a part of this promotional activity after a single phone call from Dutt, who is also producing this film. Apparently, Dutt and Bachchan’s family association goes way back as Dutt’s father, the late Sunil Dutt and Big B had a great relationship.

The film’s director David Dhawan, who has worked with Bachchan in movies like Bade Miyaan Chote Miyaan (1998) and Hum Kisise Se Kum Nahi (2002), expressed his excitement about Bachchan’s involvement. Jha was also happy to unveil the first look of his favourite actor, Devgn’s, new film. Both have given many hits like Gangajal (2003) and Rajneeti (2010).
