Prabhudheva was last seen on the big screen in ABCD 2 (2015). Over the years, he has also acted in a few Kannada and Malayalam films. The actor-director, who will now feature in Tutak Tutak Tutiya alongside Sonu Sood, says “acting was never part of his plan”. “It just happened somehow,” he adds.
This is not the first time that the two have worked together. Prabhudheva directed Sonu in Ramaiya Vastavaiya (2013) and R... Rajkumar (2013). The director says he enjoys working with Sonu. “I am fond of him. In fact, everyone who has worked with him loves him,” he says.
Prabhudheva also directed Action Jackson in 2014. Although the movie did not fare well at the box office, he seems unfazed by it. “Failure is part and parcel of life. I have failed 10 to 15 times,” he says.
