After his critically acclaimed film, A Wednesday, director Neeraj Pandey has roped in Akshay Kumar for his next. Based on the 1987 Opera House jewellery theft, the film will see Akki play the man who masterminded the heist. “After A Wednesday, Neeraj, unlike other directors, didn’t go on a filmmaking spree. He wanted to make his next film only when he is sure of the script. So, after one and a half years, Neeraj is ready to get on to his next venture,” says a source.
