Some parents can’t wait for their kids to grow up, Akshay Kumar is not one of them. The Bollywood actor has tweeted asking daughter Nitara “please don’t grow up” on her birthday on Monday.

Nitara turns five on Monday and the cute kid is already a fitness enthusiast, much like the parents. Akshay’s wife and actor-turned-writer Twinkle Khanna has earlier shared pictures on Instagram where she is seen teaching yoga to the daughter. Akshay, too has shared videos of Nitara learning self-defence techniques.

Sharing a video where Nitara is seen helping dad shave his beard, Akshay tweeted on Monday, “My fav. part of every day,my daughter shaving me at the sink, precious moments!Happy Birthday My Princess One request,please dont grow up.”

Talking about Nitara, Akshay had earlier told Hindustan Times, “Whether she likes it or not, she will have to learn self-defence techniques. I already have a feeling that Nitara’s going to be a little Ninja. There is power in her big brown eyes, and I can’t wait to put that to some good use.”

Both Akshay and Twinkle make it a point to keep their children, Nitara and Aarav, away from the public eye. Aarav also celebrated his birthday earlier this month.
