Alia Bhatt and her elder sister, Shaheen, will move into a new house

Actor Alia Bhatt will shift into her new house next month; her elder sister, Shaheen Bhatt, will move in with her.

In March this year, Alia Bhatt bought her own house. It is a stone’s throw away from her parents’ home in Juhu. But, due to her packed schedule, the 23-year-old hasn’t been able to give any attention to her new pad. “The [interior decoration] process is on, but I don’t have the time to shift right now. So, that will happen in July. That’s the only free time that I’ll have in between my work schedules,” says Alia.

The actor’s sister, Shaheen, will also move in with her. “Both of us, with help from our mum (Soni Razdan), are doing up the house, keeping all the practicalities in mind,” says Alia, who has roped in Richa Dubey to do the interiors.

“I don’t know what needs to be done in the kitchen and the bathrooms. I only know that they have to look pretty. So, I am learning a lot about what happens during the rains, and how to keep space for drying clothes, etc.,” she adds. Even though work is keeping her busy, Alia isn’t complaining. “It is definitely a satisfying feeling that I have work. But as they say, ‘The grass is greener on the other side.’ I am not saying that I want less work, but only that I need better time management,” she says.
