Alia Bhatt gets a kitten on her birthday, names it Edward Bhatt

Alia Bhatt and her sister Shaheen welcomed a new member in their family, a white kitten that they named Edward.

The entire B-town poured in wishes for birthday girl Alia Bhatt, but it seems the actor is busy in welcoming a new and super-cute family member.

The 24 year-old took to her Instagram and shared a photo with a white kitten that she gifted herself on her 24th birthday on Wednesday.

She captioned the snap, “The newest member of our family. Happy Birthday to me.”

In the pic, the Badrinath Ki Dulhania star can be seen getting cuddly with her new pet.

Her sister Shaheen also shared a picture of the cat and revealed that they had named the kitten ‘Edward Bhatt’. “This is Edward Bhatt, first of his name, ruler of all (except for the ones Sheba rules) the Bhatt kingdoms,” she wrote as caption.

On a related note, Alia Bhatt is enjoying her golden run in Bollywood with the success of her latest offering Badrinath Ki Dulhania, which is all set to enter the 100-crore club.

Alia will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s directorial ‘Dragon’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor.
