A source close to the actor says, “The film has a song sequence in which Arjun will be performing alongside professional dancers from West Bengal. This is the first time that this art form will be seen in a Hindi film.” A traditional tribal martial dance that has its regional roots in Purulia distric in West Bengal, Purulia Chhau features mask-wearing dancers who perform energetic movements, including stunts, somersaults and acrobatics.

The source adds, “Arjun practiced the dance for a few days to match the technique and energy of these dancers. The song was recently shot at Yash Raj Studios.”

Set in Kolkata, Gunday is being looked upon as one of the big films of this year. It stars Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra. The source informs us, “A few portions of the film have already been shot in Mumbai. A long schedule in Kolkatawill begin soon.”
