Many Bollywood actors are going out of their way to promote films starring other celebrities

Proving wrong the perception that Bollywood is a place of fierce competition, many actors have been making efforts to give extra mileage to films starring their peers.



Of late, almost every big name, including Amitabh Bachchan and the three superstars - Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan - has made special appearances at the promotional events of films starring other actors.



Not only that, Ranbir Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Remo D'Souza even shot for special promotional videos before the release of their friend, actor Manish Paul's debut Bollywood film, Mickey Virus.

Not very long ago, Shah Rukh, Aamir and Hrithik Roshan were spotted together at the music launch of Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (YPD). Although none of the actors was starring in the film, each took time out to attend the event and even shake a leg with veteran actor Dharmendra at the do. "I wish them all the best; the whole team of YPD and Sunny, Bobby, Dharamji and Sangeeth (Sivan, director). I hope it's a great film like the first film was," Shah Rukh said at the event.
