1. Foes-turned bros

It has been more than two years that arch-rivals Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan kissed and made up at an Iftar party organised by Baba Siddiqui. This year, we saw both stars promoting each others' films - Raees and Sultan, slated for release on the same day in 2016 - on social media. In fact, it was Salman who tweeted the first look of Shah Rukh Khan's Eid 2016 release,

Mostly, stars visit the sets of popular TV shows to promote their films. Aamir Khan, however, did not want the same for his 2013 release, Dhoom 3. However, that did not deter Salman Khan from promoting the movie on his show

. Of course, it was a total 'bhai-style' promotion. Later, when Bajrangi Bhaijaan hit theatres this July, Aamir Khan, too took to Twitter to praise and promote Salman's film.

3. Film in trouble? Bhai's always there for help

Just months after working on the biggest Bollywood blockbuster ever Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kabir Khan found himself in troubled waters with terror mastermind Hafiz Saeed seeking ban on his Katrina Kaif-Saif Ali Khan starrer Phantom.

came to Kabir's rescue and issued statements stating that Kabir Khan CAN NEVER "make a wrong movie". Though the film was banned from releasing on Pakistan screens, Salman's statement definitely made sure it does not face any road blocks in India.

4. Mentoring skills

Sooraj Pancholi could not have asked for any better promotion for his Bollywood debut than the bhai himself going all gaga over social media talking about the film. Salman has not only co-produced the

, he has also lent his voice for a romantic number and even offered a helping hand at the editing table. Now, who wouldn't want an elder bhai like that?
