Actor Aishwarya Rajessh says she was advised by some industry people to be careful about what she says in interviews.

Actor Aishwarya Rajessh is among the rare newcomers in Bollywood who go for films which don’t deal with run-of-the-mill subjects. Already a big name in the Tamil film industry, she made her Hindi film debut with the recently-released Daddy, starring actor Arjun Rampal in the lead, who portrayed gangster Arun Gawli on the silver screen.

While every newcomer gets a lot of advice from people around them as to how they should go about in this industry, the 27-year old reveals that she has never been affected by them. “Basically, I just don’t take any advice. I just be myself. Some say, you have to be careful about what you say. But, in all of my interviews, I have said whatever I wanted to. I can’t fake it, or act like those typical female actors.”

She played Arun’s wife Asha Gawli in the film, and is thankful to Arjun (who was also the producer of Daddy) for being a helpful co-star. “He helped me a lot during the shoot. The first few days on the sets were full of confusion, [as to] who was who, who was Ashim (the director) ! When you are not comfortable with the cast and the crew, it gets reflected in your performance. Everyone made me feel relaxed, and that’s why I was able to do justice to my role.”
