Dangal: My mother is my inspiration, says Aamir Khan

Aamir also unveiled trophy for Lokmat’s upcoming initiative Maharashtra’s Stylish Awards.

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan today said for him his mother was an inspiration. “My mother is my inspiration,” said the 51-year-old actor at an event.

“I have wonderful memories associated with this city since 14 years of age when I came to Kolhapur for a tennis competition and won it too,” recalled the Lagaan star.

Lokmat Group Chairman Vijay Darda was present on the occasion. Darda praised Aamir for the good work he is doing for the society by making films having social message. “Lokmat also has been instrumental in creating platforms for empowerment of women, young generation and others,” said Darda.
