"The scene required Bhoomi to be very angry and slap Ayushmann across the face but she was very hesitant and flinched every time she went to slap him," says the source, adding, "Bhoomi was very ­conscious and tensed, and had to give multiple takes for the scene as the ­timing of the slap was not perfect. After the sixth and the seventh take, Ayushman started joking about how Bhumi must be enjoying this scene, so purposely she’s asking for retakes."

The source adds that finally Ayushmann sat with Bhoomi and gave her some pep talk. "After the pep talk from him, Bhumi isolated herself for 15 minutes and when they came back, she finally ­delivered the shot at one go," says the source
