Bhatts are out with the first trailer of Jannat 2, where Emraan Hashmi will be seen romancing Esha Gupta. While the first installment was an exposé on betting in cricket, the sequel revolves around illegal trading in arms and ammunition.



"At heart, it's an old school romance revolving around a small-town guy who comes to the big city looking for a piece of heaven, falls in love with a girl (former Miss India International Esha Gupta) he would do anything for, and like Arjun, loses himself in the dark underbelly," Emraan said in an interview with HT Cafe.



"It's going to be one of the most talked about films of 2012 with superlative performances and a hit music score," said the actor who played a bookie in Jannat.



Interestingly, Emraan plays the role of Sonu Dilli KKC which stands for Kutti Kameeni Cheez. The actor will stand by his reputation and will be seen getting intimate with his female lead.



Emran's chemistry with Sonal Chauhan in the first part was impressive. Let's see what the sequel holds for us.

The 32-year-old was last seen in blockbuster The Dirty Picture and his upcoming projects include Raaz 3 and Vishal Bharadwaj's Daayan.



Directed by Kunal Deshmukh, the film also features Randeep Hooda and Imran Zahid. It's produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt. Pritam is behind the music score.



It will hit theatres on May 4, 2012.
