To be co-produced by Yash Raj Films and Dibakar Banerjee Productions and directed by Dibakar Banerjee, the movie is set in the Kolkata of 1942.

Sushant will be pitted against an evil genius who is out to destroy the world.

The Kai Po Che actor is leaving no stone unturned to do justice to his character. He is expected to shed around 8 kilos for the film, apart from learning Bengali culture.

If this was not enough, the current heartthrob will also attend a series of theatre workshops (over a period of 15 days) at the Adishakti Laboratory for Theatre Arts Research in Puducherry.
