Filmmaker Subhash Kapoor's latest venture Guddu Rangeela has collected over Rs 5.82 crore in three days.

The film, that star Arshad Warsi, Aditi Rao Hydari and Amit Sadh in lead roles, collected Rs 1.51 crore on its opening day and jumped by 30 percent on the second day after minting Rs 1.96 crore at the box office. It is riding on positive word of mouth and is expected to grow on Sunday to make a good weekend number. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the film's business.

Guddu Rangeela is about two bumbling criminals, played by Arshad and Amit, who run an orchestra party. They take on a villain (Ronit Roy) way stronger than themselves which lands them in a soup.

Produced by Mangal Murti Films, the film, which also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, is being marketed and distributed by Fox Star Studios.
