Actor Anil Kapoor has spent over 30 years in Bollywood. Next month, he will see his son, Harshvardhan Kapoor , make his acting debut with Mirzya. Although the newcomer has gone on record to say that he won’t do commercial potboilers such as Ram Lakhan (1989) or Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja (1993; both starred his father), Anil isn’t perturbed by his views.

Anil Kapoor hopes his son, Harshvardhan Kapoor “compromises the least” in his B-Town journey.
Anil Kapoor hopes his son, Harshvardhan Kapoor “compromises the least” in his B-Town journey.

“Youngsters come in with different mindsets, and after spending some time [in the industry], they start understanding things better. Everyone makes compromises, but it depends on how much you want to compromise,” says the senior actor.

Harshvardhan Kapoor will be seen with Saiyami Kher in Mirzya.

Anil feels that most people enter the film industry with “dogmatic principles”.
