Himesh Reshammiya, Sonia Kapoor post honeymoon pics. Here’s saying cheers to love

Himesh’s wife Sonia is a television actor and has starred in shows such as Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai, Jugni Chali Jalandhar, Yes Boss and Remix.

Bollywood singer and actor Himesh Reshammiya tied the knot with TV actor Sonia Kapoor on May 11 in a midnight ceremony. The couple left for a short vacation the very next day. They have now been posting pictures and videos from their honeymoon trip to Dubai.

They are looking into each other’s eyes in the photos and adorable captions accompany all the photos. While he wrote “cheers to love” with one, he captioned another one as “child within us”.

Himesh had earlier told Pinkvilla that this is the first of two vacations they will be taking as a couple, “I have a show again on the May 19 at Kanpur in India so we are going first for a short trip to Dubai now. We are going to Dubai for a short break and also because she (Sonia) needs to shop for me as she does my styling and my film is starting from August this year. After my show gets over we will go to Tokyo also next month. It will be a work-cum-honeymoon because I have show in Tokyo for which the date will be locked soon.”

The wedding of Himesh and Sonia was a close-knit affair with just the parents of the couple and Himesh’s son from his first marriage, Swayam, present on the occasion.

Himesh had last year been granted divorce from Komal, his wife of 20 years. Their decision to separate was described as amicable by Himesh. The news of their separation first came to light in September 2016 when they filed for divorce.

Sonia is a television actor who has worked in shows such as Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai, Jugni Chali Jalandhar, Kittie Party, Yes Boss, Sati and Remix and was a popular face in the television industry a few years ago. She was also the leading lady of the sitcom, Zaara and was seen in several films including Satta (2003), Fareb (2005) and Officer (2001).

Himesh and Sonia know each other since long and dated for years before finally saying ‘I do’.

On the work front, Himesh will be composing music for films like Genius and Dabangg 3 soon.
