The producer apparently fancied Burghley House—a grand 16th-century country house situated near the town of Stamford, Lincolnshire, England, and wanted to reconstruct the same at Filmistan studios in Goregaon for a couple of scenes in his forthcoming film.

Nadiadwala

Nadiadwala wished to bring alive the famous English mansion and his set features similar detailing in its structure and replicates the same palate of colours, sparing no costs. It is said that Nadiadwala was keen on it since he planned to shoot the climax of the film as well as a song in it. Confirms director Sajid Khan, “The set is so unbelievably real. We have put up the set for the action and pyrotechnics sequences which we were forbidden to film in the real castle since it’s a heritage monument.”
