Ever since her transformation into Mother Sofia, model-turned-nun Sofia Hayat has been critising the use of makeup and even said that she will never have sex or get married.
She said in an Instagram post, “We are beautiful without makeup..hair colour..fashion..we are perfect as we are.” Now, Sofia has apologised to her fans for her ‘previous life’ as a model.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Sofia said, “I apologise to my fans and anybody who found me beautiful with makeup and implants. Three weeks ago, I had my implants removed.” In 2014, Sofia had undergone multiple surgeries for breast augmentation and a nose and lip job.
Sex and making love
Sofia said in an earlier interview that she will never have sex, get married or have children. When asked if she considers having sex or getting married wrong, Sofia said, “The problem is media promotes sexual promiscuity. There is nothing wrong with making love. I say, make love and connect to your bodies. I will not marry or have sex as I need to save myself for my children. I am the Holy Mother.”
Make up and cosmetic surgeries
Sofia spoke at length about the ‘problems’ with our world. Blaming the media and the glamour world, Sofia said, “Media projects fake images of women with implants and men with steroid shots. And then, everyone wants to have similar bodies. What they don’t realise is that all of that is fake.”
She further said, “Unfortunately, women start believing that showing sexy, curvy body is freedom. The truth, however, is that media all media organisations across the world are directly or indirectly controlled by men. So what we thought was freedom, was just a man’s view of how a woman should look. That is some freedom!”
Her awakening
Sofia says that when she, alongwith one of her friends, underwent a meditation class in September 2015, a spirit told her friend, ‘Sofia Hayat is a healing planet’. “I thought that was strange. I began taking these classes and then had amazing experiences. I met my dad who died just days before the session and it was then that angels visited me. The angels and spirits told me that I am here for a divine reason, I am the Holy Mother.”
Sofia had had a bitter relationship with her dad who was accused of child molestation. She claimed that she only spoke to him after his death. “I was chided for being judgemental towards my dad. I was shown that he was innocent. I used to meditate and my spirt travelled into the world of souls where I saw it all.”
A wild card entry on the seventh season of the reality show Bigg Boss in 2013, Sofia featured with Candy Brar, Asif Azim, Ajaz Khan and Vivek Mishra. The British model-actor-singer was named the new ‘Curvy Icon’ by Vogue Italia in 2012. She was listed No 81 on FHM’s list of sexiest women in the world in September 2013. Her other television stints include Welcome: Baazi Mehmaan Nawazi Ki.
