I am single and my focus is completely on my career at the moment. I need to do great films with great filmmakers.
On working with Salman Khan
I had so much fun shooting with Salman (for forthcoming film Kick, helmed by Sajid Nadiadwala). It was amazing beyond words. Honestly, I learned so much from him about being focused and serious about one’s work.
On doing a double role for the first time
It’s fun as well as challenging to play a double role, which I am doing for the debutant director Vikramjit Singh. Both the characters are very relatable and at the same time, are in sharp contrast with each other. I am cast alongside Arjun Rampal as well as Ranbir Kapoor.
On her Bollywood journey
It has been quite a struggle ...not a perfect one, but one about finding myself. Survival in this industry, without any backing, is a tough task.
On dealing with rumours
I love social media because that gives celebrities like me to put our point across, when fabricated stories are written in the media.
