She has always portrayed demure and traditional roles in her films, but in her next, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara, Sonakshi Sinha will be seen playing a role contrasting to the ones she has played before. In fact, director Milan Luthria states that he has explored Sonakshi’s never-seen-before sensual side. She will be seen getting intimate with Akshay Kumar and Imran Khan in the film.

In spite of trying something new, Sonakshi was comfortable doing the scenes. “She is extremely talented and photogenic, and we have pushed the envelope a little bit. I have touched upon her sensual side in a way that has not been done before. There is intimacy with both the leading men (Akshay and Imran). We didn’t cross the line and she was fine and comfortable doing the scenes,” says Milan.

The director is also convinced that her sensual side will be enjoyed by the audience. “The intimate scenes have been shot gracefully. There is no unnecessary exposing. It’s a side of her that people will enjoy. In fact, I have never shown any expletives in my previous works as well,” adds Milan.
