Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is latest among a clutch of B-town celebrities to back Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes as part of the fight against black money.

Although tempers are now running high among commoners as exchanging old notes become a tiring task with massive rush at banks and ATMs still not functioning normally, Aamir insisted that the problem is a short term one.
“What people are facing is short term problem, it is important for India. I’ve no problem even if it affects my film,” ANI quoted Aamir as saying.
Aamir is currently gearing up for the release of his much awaited film Dangal where he plays former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and Sakshi plays his wife in the movie set to hit theatres on December 23.
