We know him as the suave biker boy who not only won Roadies season one but also managed to win a million hearts with his rugged looks and nonchalant persona. He is MTV VJ Ranvijay Singh, who would've been a fauji had destiny not planned other things for him.

Ranvijay, who is a self proclaimed film buff, is still fresh in his romantic relationship with Bollywood. Last seen in London Dreams, he has literally come of age with his performance in Action Replayy. Ask him how he feels about that and you can't miss the twinkle in his eye. "I don't like watching myself on screen. Usually when I do, I don't like what I do. But the reaction from people has been great. People have even said that my character is the highlight of the film. The response has been very satisfying."

Even though, Action Replayy didn't make the BO tinkle, Ranvijay is his usual nonchalant self. "What you take away from the film is not a hit or flop, it's the journey and the time spent in making the film. The experience of shooting Action Replayy was awesome," says he.

Mention Akshay Kumar and you can actually see a sense of awe in him. "Akshay is very down to earth. He is super fit, loves to eat and extremely disciplined. He would reach the sets at 6am without fail. That man is awesome!"

Moving away from films, Ranvijay has hosted many reality shows like MTV Roadies and Splitsvilla. Would he ever participate in one? "I get offered reality shows almost every other day but I don't think I can be a part of a studio set up. In Roadies, the settings keep changing; you're traveling everyday so basically it's not boring. But if you're participating in a show which is studio bound then will get too monotonous for a person like me."

Would he ever consider participating in Bigg Boss? "I wouldn't ever participate in Bigg Boss but I would love to host it. It pays well!"

Ranvijay will be next seen in Ekant where he will share screen space with Mahesh Manjrekar, Imad Shah and Anaita. It's a dark story about four friends who don't have a happy go lucky life.
