Is Gauhar Khan in another YRF flick?

Gauhar Khan, who is remembered for her part in the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Rocket Singh Salesman Of The year (2009), might be doing another film with Yash Raj after the Shimit Amin directorial.

Gauhar Khan, who is remembered for her part in the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Rocket Singh Salesman Of The year (2009), might be doing another film with Yash Raj after the Shimit Amin directorial.

The actor was recently spotted in Lucknow, shooting with producer Boney Kapoor’s son, Arjun Kapoor, who will soon be launched by YRF’s youth franchise Y-Films with Virus Diwan. An eyewitness says, “Gauhar was hounded by the media in Lucknow while she was shooting for a movie with Arjun.”

Directed by Bumpy, who earlier helmed Luv Ka The End, Virus Diwan is a tech-based caper where Arjun plays the title role of a computer hacker. Until now, YRF has kept the female lead of the film under wraps. But if her Lucknow outing is anything to go by, seems like Gauhar is indeed that name.

When contacted, her spokesperson confirmed that the actor was in Lucknow, but refrained from divulging any details about the shoot: “She is in Lucknow as she has multiple shoots to finish.”

Gauhar made her Bollywood debut with an item number in the film, Aan: Men At Work in 2004. Eventually she grabbed a prominent role in Rocket Singh and recently starred in Game (2011).

The VJ-turned-actor has recently also ventured into television for the reality show, The Khan Sisters along with sibling-TV actor Nigaar Khan. The show’s format, though indigenous, has being compared to that of the American series, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
