It’s easy for Sonakshi Sinha to work on more than one film at a time

Actor Sonakshi Sinha, who plays a journalist in Noor, and an action hero in Akira and Force 2, says she likes portraying different roles on screen.

One day, she does hardcore action, and the next day, news reporting — actor Sonakshi Sinha says it’s no big task preparing or shooting for different characters and films at the same time.

“I love being one person one day and a completely different one the next. That’s also the Gemini in me who enjoys it. It’s easy for me to switch on and off on set,” says the 29-year-old.

Sonakshi Sinha says that Akira filmmaker AR Murugadoss and stunt director Anal Arasu were happy with her action-packed performance in the film.

“It’s truly been a wonderful experience. The whole process of learning something new — mixed martial arts — and executing it in a film has been a terrific feeling. Especially when you start from scratch and the results are appreciated by people who have been in this business for so long. Murugadoss sir and our action director Anal Arasu were very happy with what I had done in the film and that itself felt like a big achievement,” she says.

Sonakshi agrees that her training in martial arts may not be enough to get a grasp on the art form, but works well for a portrayal on screen. “To play any role which requires something specific of an actor, there is only so much you can do. But the training definitely helps in getting the basics right and making it look convincing,” she says.
