On her mother Shivangi's birthday, the actor threw a surprise party for her, which had karaoke thrown in.

A source close to the 26-year-old actor says, "Shraddha wanted to do something very special for her mother's birthday. So, she decided on organising a karaoke birthday party, as not many people know that her mother, too, loves singing. They hail from a family of singers, and she is a fabulous singer. So Shraddha thought what better way than to give her mother a night full of music and singing with her dear and close ones."

The source adds, "Shivangi was having a quiet birthday with her family, oblivious to the fact that her daughter was ensuring that this birthday turns out to be very special."

Shraddha invited her mother's friends for the party. "Shraddha ensured her mom's favourite songs were played, and even looked into catering and other details which took 10 days of planning. She personally invited all the guests for the party that happened in their Juhu home," adds the source.
