Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, starring Harshvardhan Kapoor, clashes with sisters Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Rhea Kapoor’s Veere Di Wedding at the box office.

The buzz around director Vikramaditya Motwane and actor Harshvardhan Kapoor’s film, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, is high. The film, which opened on Friday, is expected to see the emergence of a new kind of Bollywood superhero -- who is essentially human yet maturer than what we have seen before. A lot is riding on the film for Harshvardhan too, as his debut film, Mirziya, had bombed. What’s more is that the film will clash with sister Sonam Kapoor’s Veere Di Wedding at the box office.

Not surprising then that the film’s special screening in Mumbai saw many a Bollywood star descend. And leading the charge were Bollywood’s latest sweethearts -- sisters Janvhi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Of course, there is another angle to it -- Harshvardhan is also their first cousin. Among others who were present include Ishan Khatter, who himself awaits the release of his first Bollywood film, Dhadak. Film heavyweights such as Javed Akhtar and David Dhawan (who walked in with Sikandar Kher) were also at the screening. Actor and model Mandana Karimi also made her presence felt. Malayalam actor Malvika Mohanan, who featured in Majd Majidi’s Beyond the Clouds, was also present. Actor Yami Gautam was also spotted at the event.

Also seen was actor Taapsee Pannu who came along with Harshvarshan on a bike to the screening.
