They first teamed up in Anurag Kashyap’s 2009 hit Dev D. Later, Zoya Akhtar got them together in this year’s biggie, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. And now, actors Kalki Koechlin and Abhay Deol are set to team up again — albeit in a different setting.

The NFDC Film Bazaar has managed to rope them in together for a debate on the topic, ‘Are new age filmmakers trendsetters?’ on the sidelines of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), that kick-started in Goa on Wednesday.

Abhay Deol

Confirms Nina Lath Gupta of NFDC: “We are happy that Abhay and Kalki will be a part of the talk, along with Zoya (Akhtar) and Sanjay (Suri). They are wonderful people and will add a lot of value to our discussion on cinema. It’s a very exciting thought for all of us.”

Kalki, though, won’t be alone at the event. Her husband Anurag Kashyap has also travelled with her to be a part of Film Bazaar’s discussions.
