Kamal Hassan is back: first look of Vishwaroop II out

Kamal Hassan has already begun shooting for the sequel of his ambitious project Vishwaroopam/Vishwaroop. The first look of Vishwaroop II, written and directed by Kamal Hassan, has been released.

The sequel to Kamal Hassan's ambitious project Vishwaroopam/Vishwaroop (Tamil/Hindi) is already under production. The first look of Vishwaroopam has been released. The poster shows an injured Kamal Hassan with the surroundings full of fighter jets unleashing wrath. Written and directed by Kamal Hassan, the original cast of the Vishwaroopam, Kamal Haasan, Rahul Bose, Shekhar Kapoor, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Jaideep Ahlawat will be seen in the film.

Hassan also plans to cast Waheeda Rehman and Anant Mahadevan.

Vishwaroopam turned out to be a controversial film that was released only after two weeks of its scheduled released due to protests against it.

Hassan had earlier told PTI, "I don't make film for publicity rather I want my film to be enjoyed by my audience. Generally, people wait for a year and then decide a film's sequel. But, I was sure from the beginning that I will bring the second part too. Vishwaroopam 2 is not my arrogance rather it is my confidence. I had written the film in two parts and wanted to tell my audience the complete story. We decided to do in a two parts so that individually both the parts can work."
