“He is like a innocent-faced devil. The character is a bit surreal and has shades of grey,” says Anshuman, who started shooting for the film on Sunday.

The sequel to the original film, which starred Abhay Deol and Neha Dhupia, will now feature a fresh pair—Viveik Oberoi and Mallika Sherawat. It is Anshuman’s first mainstream project since LSD (2010). The budding actor, however took time off before signing on the film.

“We had some date issues,” explains Anshuman, who was working on director Amit Singh Chauhan’s Boys Toh Boys Hai and had committed to the south director Janaki Viswanathan’s debut Bollywood film Bakhra. “Now it’s sorted. I will be shooting for KLPD for a week now and then go to Latur to shoot for Janaki’s film. There on, I’ll resume shooting for KLPD in February,” adds Jha.
