As irony would have it, the delicious-sounding upcoming flick, Luv Shuv Te Chicken Khurana, is releasing on Karva Chauth, the day when the queens of the kitchen would be fasting till late evening.

The film’s producer Anurag Kashyap says he had no idea his food movie was releasing on the same day as the festival, which has wives fasting for the well-being of their husbands.

“Really? November 2 is Karva Chauth? I wasn’t aware of it when I decided to release my film on this day. But I would like to suggest one thing to all the ladies who will be fasting — go on a dinner date with your husbands after watching my movie, which is the first Hindi food movie,” he says.

Tell him that November 2 also happens to be actor Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday, and he jokes, “Oh … so all the women in the country are going to fast for Shah Rukh Khan! Mere birthday ke din kabhi aayega Karva Chauth?”
