Naseer to play Dawood Ibrahim twice

Dawood Ibrahim is back in Bollywood, but only in films! After Akshay Kumar, who will be seen playing the underworld don in Once Upon A Time sequel, it is Naseeruddin Shah's turn to essay the role of Dawood in two of his upcoming films, Chargesheet and Department.

Naseer, who will be seen as Dawood in Dev Anand's next Chargesheet, said, "I play this underworld don who operates in Mumbai from Dubai. I roll around in bed with this lovely lady."

In Ram Gopal Verma's Department as well, Naseer will portray the don's character. "Ramu wants to portray Naseer's character as a powerful entity without stereotypical props. His rich baritone will be the only measure of the gangster's power. He doesn't need a moll to exude power," a source told Mumbai Mirror.
