Neha Dhupia’s mehendi ceremony photos have their focus on the beaming bride
After their wedding, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi left for the US for a vacation.
Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s low-key wedding caught their fans by surprise. Days after Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with businessman Anand Ahuja, Neha and Angad also married in a traditional Anand Kaaraj ceremony in Delhi. The couple revealed the news on social media as both of them shared a photo from the ceremony and said that they are married to their “best friend” now. The couple left for the US after their wedding.
Now, photos from Neha Dhupia’s mehendi and ring ceremonies are out and they are as dreamy as the wedding photos. Dressed in a peacock blue dress, she beamed for the camera as mehendis is being applied on her palms.
For her wedding, Neha opted for a pastel pink lehenga from designer Anita Dongre while Angad wore white sherwani and pale pink turban. Filmmaker Karan Johar was among the first to congratulate Dhupia and Bedi on their marriage.
“My darling and most special friend @NehaDhupia who l love and adore dearly is married to the gentleman and talented @Imangadbedi !! Here’s wishing them decades of unconditional love!” Karan wrote on Twitter.
“Many congratulations you crazy bunch! So happy for the two of you. Rab Rakha,” tweeted Abhishek Bachchan.
Neha and Angad shared a statement, “Marrying your best friend is one of the greatest feelings in the world, and we are extremely fortunate to have found love in each other. It has been a beautiful journey knowing each other and after formalizing the wedding earlier this year, today, we exchanged our vows in a beautifully simple, private and intimate Anand Karaj ceremony in Delhi. We look forward to celebrating and sharing this special moment with our friends and colleagues in Mumbai in the next couple of weeks. Thank you for showering us with so much love. Your blessings have truly made this day so much more special.”
Neha is working in Karan Johar’s short for Netflix, Lust Stories, while Angad will be next seen in Diljit Dosanjh-starrer Soorma.
